I have no people reporting to me and don't expect to. My competency is in the tech realm.

I work day-to-day on C# and .Net and work at home two days a week so I can do deep thinking, writing and reflecting.

My first company, Pure Software, was exciting and innovative in the first few years and bureaucratic and painful in the last few before it got acquired. The problem was we tried to systemize everything and set up perfect procedures.

Technology is cool, but you've got to use it as opposed to letting it use you.

The human condition today is better than it's ever been, and technology is one of the reasons for that.

From the artist's standpoint, are you getting more from streaming than you used to, prior to the days of the Internet? No - and I don't know if those days are ever going to come back - but at least, technically speaking, it's the legal way to do it.
