I see pictures of myself BB - before Botox - and I see the ones after and I am happy. I am on television 1,500 times a year and it is a very small way, and a safe way, of looking a little bit better than I used to.

My dad epitomises everything I'd like my kids to say about me. He gave his kids the best start and he had values.

When I get through the front door, I haven't got time to tie my shoelaces. There are three kids, and the wife, and I make that absolutely the priority. By the time we've got the kids to bed and had a bite to eat we're in bed by 10:15 and are knackered!

My kids are amazing and they are the ones that keep me going.

I was born to a very large family, one of 7 kids. I grew up with carnivals and chaos all around me, so I can write anywhere.

When my parents met, my mother was a waitress and my father was a dockyard worker. They were part of that post-war better-yourself generation, so they both went to night school.

My family were pretty big hippies.
