Back in the day, if someone at the record label didn't care or like your music, it never got to the public. It just got shelved.

If your mind is not willing, everything will go. There's so much great power of our mind that we take for granted, and how we think and what positiveness can do.

When I was suffering with depression, people weren't talking about depression. It had a stigma.

I do think the love-gone-wrong songs go over better, only because those melodies and those lyrics have a different feel that you can grasp on if you're a torch singer like myself.

Comedy was why I got into acting the first place. Peter Sellers was a huge influence on my wanting to act. I grew up with him and found him hysterical. The Pink Panther films were an inspiration, from my earliest childhood days, when I was watching them with my brother and my dad.

I'm 53, and it's hard to get to the gym every day. If I know on Friday I'm going to be wrestling, then I don't want to look bad, so it gives me motivation. Plus, once you're in motion, it's a lot easier to stay in motion.

I want to be an inspiration to as many people as I can.
