I have been recognized from 'Mad Men,' and it's so cool when that happens because I am so proud to be a part of the show.

Certainly I'm always willing to talk to anyone who's interested in talking to me!

Let me just tell you this: I love polyester.

My first gig was 'The Outsiders.' I was 14 there. And probably one of the more jading experiences in my whole life.

I was the only child, and I know my father had certain thoughts about me. He was a lawyer and extremely literary, but he would have been much happier if I had wanted to be a lawyer, a scientist, an engineer. But what I wanted to do was read.

In our youths, many of us suspected that being tied down to a partner and family might constrain us. But after 40, even that landscape starts to shift. Many singletons turn inward and start longing for the things so many of us longed to be free of in our 20s.

My family is really into politics.

As a kid, I know that most of my parents' friends were because my mom made friends with them, and my dad went along. I know a lot of dads who do that. I think it just starts to happen with guys. In the case of my father, he was probably just too busy reading books about Titanic.
