I am fortunate to have access to an array support and services, and I certainly could not do my job without them. But sadly, not everyone has access to the same resources.

I was so affected by the tragic shootings that took place in Newtown, Connecticut, as we all were.

My accident happened in what should have been one of the safest places to be: in a police station, at the hands of trained police officers. So more guns are not the answer.

More guns are not the answer to keeping our kids and our communities safer.

Most designers and creative agencies, no matter their industry niche, will do some nonprofit or cause-related work at some stage of their career. This work helps us create a sense of purpose that is bigger than us. It connects us to our community, helps us leave a legacy and be part of something bigger than our own work.

I do not support a single-payer system; I do support having something there, whether it's an option or not. And we can work with that, but we have to have something to leverage so we can get the insurance company to bring down their prices, and the only way to do that is to have an alternative there.

The only reason I have any success at all in my career is because of the Internet.

When I'm done fighting, I want to look to get some sort of driving career somewhere. My goal is to eventually get into the Mint 400 and do the trophy truck stuff.
