Frankly, writing poetry for children is plain old fun, and I consider myself blessed to have such a delightful career.

I accept challenges, I have always done that in writing.

If you don't want to run the risk that the filmmakers may adapt your work in a way you don't like, then you don't sell the option. You know when you sell it that they will have to make some changes, just because film and TV are different media than books.

Our imagination just needs space. It's all it needs, that moment where you just sort of stare into the distance where your brain gets to sort of somehow rise up.

Catastrophes are often stimulated by the failure to feel the emergence of a domain, and so what cannot be felt in the imagination is experienced as embodied sensation in the catastrophe.

Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art.
