Art is for entertainment purposes, but it's also to reflect our dreams, our hopes, the present, the future the past - whether it's good or bad.

My son doesn't really want to model as a career, so I am not worried about him entering into the industry.

I guess you can be a supermodel today just by building followers. You don't necessarily have to do the work of going to Milan and then to Paris or New York, trying to find the right photographer, artist, or designer to see you.

Everybody's constantly growing. In your twenties, you can learn a lot, and you can be very smart and clever and savvy. Especially these kids today. They seem like they have it all together. But let's talk to them again when they're 40 years old and see really who they are. Is it who they thought they were at 25?

I don't claim to be a particularly good father. I'm flawed, let's say. I've certainly been affected by the experience of having kids... trying to be a father, at least. It's an amazing process. It's like songwriting: it's a complete mystery to me. I don't understand it - but I've certainly written about it.

As someone that really likes painting and visual art but also likes video and movies and also music and recording and style and clothes, it was hard to pick what to do with my life.

I am very much interested in getting parents to read to children, and trying to get people mentoring children. If I can do both I'll be happy.

It's unbearable when someone changes around you. Just imagine that your life partner changes, then it is difficult to cope with. Or your mother. Or your father. They were strong and now they're like a baby - it's not so funny.
