I had had my own trials and tribulations with body image. I had gone through a lot starting from my teenage years.

I didn't always have a lot of self confidence growing up.

You don't always need to be this flawless female with amazing skin and done hair. Perfect doesn't exist.

We need to see real women's bodies.

Many badly needed goals, like fusion and cancer cure, would be achieved much sooner if we invested more.

Los Angeles has all the ingredients of success... but we need to start with our education system.

I have no doubt that the digital immersion of our children will provide a rich life of entertainment and information and knowledge. My concern is that they will not learn, with their passive immersion, the joy and the effort of the third life, of thinking one's own thoughts and going beyond what is given.

I am donating $10,000 from my inaugural committee to the 'Pink Pack' because the only way we will find a cure for cancer is by joining together, pooling our resources, and focusing on the lifesaving mission that everyone can fight back against cancer.
