Growing up with four older brothers, we were into everything! They started snowboarding when I was just a tiny button, and I loved watching them shredding in the backyard. After seeing them compete in a few contests, it was all over. I idolized the sport from day one.

I feel like my role is to be one of those voices who reaches the youth.

I've always wanted to make an impact.

My goal from the beginning was, if I ever hit it it big, I would give back. And that continues to be my goal moving forward.

I had an extremely boring time doing 20 to 30 trades a day while everyone was talking about baseball or basketball. So I stood there fantasizing about a device that could do the same thing I was doing.

When I was studying at the Iowa Writers School, I read a sports writer, Ron Maly, from the Des Moines Register. He was a good sports writer. I became real interested in the contrast between Lute Olson, who was the coach of Iowa at the time, and Ron Maly.

The sport of shooting is my life.

I am a football fan, I've watched football my whole life. When my favourite team didn't do well I'd get angry.
