MLS is a league that is growing. What can I say? The league is more physical: the players here can play 90 minutes or more. There is a little bit more quality in Spain, because it's more technical, but it's difficult to say.

My dad was my manager when I was young, but as a professional, Frank Rijkaard.

It's a short career, so I always try to focus, and I want to be in the elite for a long time.

My big goal is to be a champion in MLS.

I did a little bit of acting - some guest spots here and there. I got a job working as a therapist doing individual and group crisis intervention and family therapy. I did that for two years. I left to do 'Boston Legal.' So my psychology career has been interwoven into my acting career, and it's my safety net and fallback.

I was raised on the Southside of Chicago, and my whole family was musically-inclined.

I'm a family man, and I couldn't be happier. My wife and I have been blessed with an incredible family, and my kids are my life.

But parents and schools have their priorities; making sure our kids eat right because research shows a clear connection between nutrition and student performance in school.
