It was hard growing up because there was nothing close. I never went to a golf tournament.

I've always been a pretty good ball-striker, I've relied on my ball-striking in my whole career, my athletic ability. But the short game and putting has kind of held me back in majors.

One thing for me that modeling definitely did was that you go to do a different job every day, and you are working with a completely new team of people. You have to learn how to talk to people and how to creatively achieve the same goals. I think it just hones your people skills.

I have no time for specialized concerns, working themes or variations that lead to mastery... I like the indefinite, the boundless; I like continual uncertainty. Other qualities may be more conducive to achievement, publicity, success; but they are all outworn - as outworn as ideologies, opinions, concepts and names for things.

The secret to my success is persistence.

Obviously, it's nice when you're having success, but this isn't going to last forever. There are going to be rough times as well, but you've just got to ride those.
