I can take a beginner kid that has never danced in their lives, and I can teach them something, or I can take a really advanced dancer, and I can make them into a professional.

I don't want flowers or candy or anything like that. I just want somebody to say, 'Wow, you've done a great job.'

I teach in the medical school, the School of Public Health, the Kennedy School of Government, and the Business School. And it's the best perch... because most of my work crosses boundaries.

If consumers were more empowered, they would take more responsibility for their health.

We need strong public health institutions to respond to any challenge. We need to deal with critical infrastructure. The reality is that very little money has flowed to communities to help our first responders; to help our hospitals; to help the public health infrastructure.

A healthy diet is a solution to many of our health-care problems. It's the most important solution.
