In my career quite a few people have tried to force me out, but so far no one has succeeded.

I want a guy who's going to be accepting of - one, my big 'ol, loud Mexican family - and also my career, because it's a lot. I don't want someone who's like... 'Oh, you don't have time for me'. Like, I want somebody who's sure of himself and gonna be like, 'Okay, you go do your thing, and when you come back, we're good.'

I learned through experience that it doesn't work for me to talk about my personal life. I've had earlier times in my career when I did talk about it.

Often, M.B.A.s will parachute around from one company or industry to another, without really understanding what's behind it.

My belief is that if I can achieve that level of entertainment by making the audience happy or sad or angry, then I have succeeded as an actor and have done my job. The profits and the fame as an actor will eventually surface, but first and foremost comes the work as an actor.
