In high school, I listened to Lady Gaga and I was really obsessed with just being who you are and owning that experience - she was a really big inspiration in that aspect to me and my friends, who were young and growing up, and making our way through the city and the world.

I play in men's and women's wear, and I kinda mix and things like that.

I'm actually studying hospitality and I have a concentration in event planning and design. I study mostly around event management and a little bit of business.

So I'm definitely coming up in the entertainment world. Definitely a talk show down the line is my ultimate goal and you know, dabbling in fashion and entertainment.

I want someone to be able to say, 'I relate to this person on The Five.' You feel like you belong. You kind of feel like it's family. They feel like they know us because we reveal so much about ourselves on the show.

My parents were very supportive of my chess. When I got home after a game of chess, having missed school or something, they always made me feel very welcome; I didn't feel guilty at all about pursuing chess with such fervour. They never, for instance, perceived sports as a rival to academics.

My goal has always been to just kind of show how my family, we might be a different culture, but we're completely like everybody else.

I was lucky enough to have parents with a huge film library. My mum is a huge Bollywood film geek. When we were kids, we would watch Indian films with her as well as Chinese and Japanese films. My father was more into the classics, American films, and also Hitchcock films.
