The intolerance of people against other people is growing and growing. And the thing is, this is not anything that's changed. This has been going on for years.

Beautiful things comfort; they bring a real clarity and ease. We have to continue to make our environments beautiful - it's sort of like a prayer. If you surround yourself with beautiful things, you have a better life - one with more oxygen.

For me, health, education, and spirituality should never be commercialised.

It would be unthinkable in Canadian public life today for the public inauguration of our supreme political figures to be accompanied by prayer.

We live in an age of technology and science that demands proof, and yet we desire mystery. But when God gives us mystery, we seek to destroy it by gross indifference or childish reasoning.
