It's an honour to extend my deal with Manchester City. This club offers everything a player needs to fulfil their ambitions, and there's nowhere else I want to be.

To be honest, I'm now at one of the best teams in the world. To be part of this club and to have this opportunity is great. I'm very happy to be part of Manchester City's team, and I look forward to trying to do my best to help the team reach their goals.

I've always tried to play for the team, not just for myself but for the whole team.

For me at 16 and 17 years old, I wasn't even playing for the academy teams. I hardly played in the starting XI for the Under 19s.

When I was younger, I could never have imagined that me at 24 would have already won a league in Portugal, a league in France, a league in England, and playing for the national team.

All coaches have different ways of working.

I finish the game, and sometimes I don't play very well, and my grandmother calls up to ask why I haven't played well. Instead of being criticised by Pep, it's my grandmother!

When you are in the second position and you want to be champions, you are always under pressure.

It is good to have lots of games, as it means we are fighting for everything.

It is so boring when you have seven days without a game.

When I was five, 10, 15 years old, I always dreamed of being in the best league in the world, playing with some of the best clubs.

The second season is always easier than the first one. When you change, it's always more difficult. You have to adapt to the way your team plays; you have to adapt to your team-mates, to the league, to the referees.
