I want to thank the people of Tennessee's Fourth Congressional District for once again putting their faith in my ability to serve them; I promise I will never take that trust for granted.

I am human. I don't think I ever put myself out there to be somebody that was perfect. I put myself out there as somebody who wanted to serve the public.

The 4th Congressional is a rural district where people are proud to put in an honest day's work. We believe in God and family, and that success is created by working hard every day. We don't want the government interfering in our lives or telling us what to do.

As a member of Congress, I strongly believe I have a responsibility to be truthful, even if that means delivering difficult news.
