Degree actually came to me and asked me if I wanted to be a part of their campaign, and I thought it was just really exciting and important, obviously to my fans, and growing up I had tons of OMG moments. I get to share my own moments through video blogs.

Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing. The older I got, the worse it got.

In the United States, if you're African-American, it can be assumed that your family has been here for generations. In Europe, colonialism is much more alive, and it's assumed you're from Nigeria or Senegal.

And then I have two children by Theresa, one boy 10 and one girl 13.

It seems like all of my biggest life events happen when I'm actually at home in Cleveland around my family.

Some of my fondest memories are of being in a van. It can be exhausting, but many adventures can be had.
