I've learnt music, since this is a part and parcel of growing up in a traditional Tamil Brahmin family. In fact, I've even given three exams in music when I was young.

After 'Dil Aashna Hai,' I became busy, as my daughters Esha and Ahana were growing up, and I had to look after them.

For any cultural performance involving me, the response from Kolkata is the most critical. If I pass here, I will pass elsewhere.

I think I have aged gracefully.

I think the movie business, you meet people, and you work intensely with them, and you have these relationships - there's an intimacy to it and a familiarity to the relationship because you're having to let go of all your barriers so you can let people in and work with them.

I try to do different things as much as I can. I feel like every actor, there's a limited number of tricks and go-tos. The real good stuff you can't get to unless it's something you haven't done before. So I try to make sure each thing is slightly different. Unless it's for the money. Then I don't care.

I had a boyfriend in school, and it was an innocent relationship that I experienced. It's sad that the relationship didn't last forever, but I do look forward to having someone special in my life once again. I'd definitely want to get married if I find my Mr Right.
