I don't know how to be professional. But I always enjoy what I do.

As an actor, you create a character from your understanding of what you have heard and your observations. Eventually, every film is an extension of the images that I have seen or what I have heard or read somewhere.

If I do a film, I go to the place where it is based on, interact with people, and then, I believe, you pick up things without you even noticing.

Offscreen, I'm a private person. I'm shy and don't know how to face the public.

Odd, the years it took to learn one simple fact: that the prize just ahead, the next job, publication, love affair, marriage always seemed to hold the key to satisfaction but never, in the longer run, sufficed.

If somebody says, 'I am a gay person, and I want to get married,' is their own family going to deny them that? Are our own fellow citizens going to deny them that?

Does having a wife and kids change your act? Yes, but only in the best way. It gives you weight and authority. It also makes you closer to the audience because the audience is married and has kids.

Anything outside marriage seems like freedom and excitement.
