My house in my real life is a no-purple zone.

When I read both pilots for 'Breaking Bad' and the 'Michael J. Fox Show,' I turned to my husband in real life, and I'm like, 'That is an amazing script.'

You look at anything, and you're like, 'Is this as good as 'Breaking Bad?'' It took a while for me to stop comparing every project that comes my way to that. That's one of the reasons I wanted to do 'Life in Pieces.' I just want something that's a 180. I just wanna do something completely different.

I like to do Italian food on Sunday nights. We'll either go somewhere, and the whole family will go, or we'll stay in our apartment and watch a movie and enjoy one of the huge perks of living in New York City, which is that you can have anything delivered.

The great thing about being in this business is that you meet people, and I met Sally Struthers.

Honestly, one of the reasons I wanted to do a comedy next was that I just kept thinking, 'I don't want to chase the next 'Breaking Bad,' because honestly, there may never be one.' I couldn't imagine any other drama comparing. And I just wanted to laugh.

I will say, 'The Michael J. Fox Show' is funnier than 'Breaking Bad' - not that 'Breaking Bad' isn't funny, but this is funnier and slightly less violent.

Compared to the other work I've done on TV, 'Breaking Bad' was funny. In the beginning, I described it as a dark comedy.

The great thing with comedy is that I don't memorize ahead of time like I did on 'Breaking Bad.' With 'Breaking Bad,' I wanted to know those words inside and out, really have my lines down so I could say them verbatim. But with comedy, you keep it a lot more loose.

I believe gelato is meant to be treated as medicine and taken daily as a prescription.

I would watch 'All In The Family' with my babysitter.

I was lucky enough to be on a show like 'Breaking Bad' for 5 seasons; it changes how you look at other projects that come up.
