It's hard to compare the faith of Gareth Southgate and Roy Hodgson and my lack of chances at Chelsea because it's such a big club.

Games and training are completely different.

I've trained with some top players at Chelsea, but sometimes training is not enough.

I realised to keep improving, I needed to play more. It wasn't easy not getting many chances, but I knew I just had to keep working hard in training and take the opportunities when they came.

I'd say Eden Hazard is the best player I've trained with. But the best trainer has to be Frank Lampard. And John Terry, too. Their attitude to training. They train properly every day. They really stood out for me.

It's been so difficult to go from playing every game then get to the seniors and not be given a chance. It's really difficult mentally. There's only so long you just enjoy training with top players.

Training has always been top level. No matter if it's at a World Cup or not, training's been really good and at a high level.

You can only improve so much in training.

I've really enjoyed myself and the time I've had on the pitch, the opportunity to play for England.

It was tough mentally at Chelsea, obviously not getting the game time. I had to be really patient and have the mentality to still train right and do all the right things.

I believe that if you do all the right things, in time, you will get your opportunities.
