I've done a lot of great things playing for this country and this national team in the youth stage.

I've failed a lot in my career.

I've had a fantastic career. I can sleep at night, and I'm happy with that.

I have to show up and do my job every day; that's my focus.

I wouldn't be doing my job, or holding myself to that standard that I see fit, if I just shut my mouth and played the game.

Competition is everywhere here. I think it's a valuable thing. I think it's a good thing.

There have been women who have pioneered and paved the way for me to be able to sit here and to have a platform. And it's my job and my duty to continue to push the boundary for equality on all spectrums.

It was important for me to have something to fall back on and not just rely on my athletics to get me through everything because, clearly, at any point, something could happen.

Every team I'm on, I expect to win.

You've got to understand that on all my club teams, I've been an impactful player.

How many times do you get to play in Portland in front of how many thousands of people? That's the kind of environment we want to be in.

I did learn that there's a bigger picture than just being the best at your sport.
