In the past, I have played the roles of subdued, self-sacrificing women. But we need to show our women as bolder individuals. I know this will happen.

I will accept my age gracefully.

I don't have the time to think about my past, and I don't think I need to.

My past has helped me grow as a person.

I want to marry a good person, not his profession. If the person is good, the profession doesn't matter. I hold honesty, simplicity, and genuineness above everything.

I have been fortunate enough to be offered characters and projects that challenge me and that are different from the characters that I have played.

Looking back, I believe that acting was the best that I could do. It just happened. I kept getting good offers, and the going has been good.

If somebody is good to me, I'll reciprocate. What's the harm? If somebody says 'Hello' to me, I won't turn my back on him.

It's great to see so many women grab the world by its lapel, push their limits, and shine through it all.

TV is nothing without its women.

TV is keeping me very busy.

I really enjoy working. It doesn't tire me.
