Making a film is a very difficult thing to do, but the experience of 'Best F(r)iends' is a great memory.

It's a weird business, whether you're trying to write or act or do music. You're put in these situations you're not prepared for.

Obviously, with 'The Room,' I wasn't on set thinking 'I'm going to be Daniel Day Lewis' playing Mark, but explaining how I even got involved in the movie shows how we all get stuck in situations as actors - and this one ended up being one of the craziest.

I've just come to try to see the positive in everything. Despite people saying 'The Room' is the worst movie or whatever, it's brought about a lot of great things.

The Disaster Artist' isn't really about 'The Room.' It's about friendship and how dreams can come true.

I think whether you're old or young, we're all trying to do the same thing, and it's random who we click with. Ideally, you'd want to collaborate with a Christopher Nolan or somebody like that, starting out, and build those friendships.

We all deal with change differently.

I like the legend behind him. James Dean symbolizes the young actor's dream. He struggled to get into Hollywood. He shot to fame at the age of 24 but only got to star in three films. It's kind of a fantasy of what could have been.

I learn new things about what 'The Room' does wrong or oddly every time I see it with a crowd.

I used to watch 'Private Resort' and laugh all the time.

A lot of times, we think we're set out to do one thing, but then you realise that's maybe not what's best for you. So I've just learned to accept and embrace.

I saw an early cut of 'The Disaster Artist,' and I thought it was inspiring in a lot of ways, and it made me realize it had been so long since I had tried to make a film or to try to - you know, the book was obviously my first kind of big creative pursuit I had control over.
